Returning to writing about the Portland startup community
For those of you who subscribe to this whole weekly Silicon Florist newsletter thingamajig, it may not have seemed like anything changed in 2022. But for folks who were regular readers of the blog, I’ve been noticeably — perhaps thankfully for many — quiet for a few months. Because after consistently writing about the Portland startup community over the course of 15 years, I felt like I needed a break.
And now I feel like that break is over. I feel like I need to get back to writing. Maybe not with the same frequency I’ve written in the past. Maybe with slightly different subject matter. Maybe returning to more long-form think pieces than quick blurbs of news. Maybe it’s not just writing this time. I’m not quite sure.
I just know that I’m going to start writing again. And posting that writing on the web. And I sincerely hope you’ll take the opportunity to read it. Either here or at Silicon Florist.
PRO TIP: If you’re working on something I should be writing about or at least paying attention to, please feel free to let me — and all of the other readers — know.
