Depot was a new name to me. So the news of them raising a sizable Seed Round was a surprise. (Also pleasantly surprised to see they were Y Combinator alums.) But one thing that wasnβt surprising was the their focus β which I always phrase as βengineers building tools for other engineersβ β a historically strong Portland startup sweetspot.
