TECHFESTNW HOSTS A CONVERSATION ABOUT THE SHARING ECONOMY

The Portland startup scene has always been collaborative and collegial. So it would stand to reason that the impact of the sharing economy—both positive and negative—would be a topic of conversation within our community. Now, TechfestNW—an annual startup event—is working to bring that conversation to the forefront with a special one day event entitled “A Shared Future.”

WEWORK PLANS PORTLAND COWORKING SPACE AT THE CUSTOMS HOUSE

It’s been about a year in the making but New York-based coworking space startup WeWork is coming to Portland and it’s landing in the historic US Customs House, which has been empty for years.
